The Niagara air bus was outside to pick us up after 10am, so once again after another fire alarm and fire engine exhibition, we were on our way to Niagara Falls. Toronto seemed a nice city - the weather was like ours - hot and sunny and the place reminded me of Sydney - prosperous and business oriented. Toronto extends nearly all the way to Niagara Falls with car sales, production lines, RV sales and industry along the highway. Toronto has a big harbour area on Lake Ontario that would be good to see if we had more time. We skirted the edge of Lake Ontario and got to Niagara Falls about lunch time. The hotel (Hilton) room was excellent with full view of the falls out the window. We went over to the Casino complex for something to eat and found Johnny Rockets and like old "rockers" we had a bacon and egg burger, malted milk, ice cream float (spider) and fries in the diner with Elvis singing in the background. We then walked all around the falls which was a long walk and took in all the sights and took heaps of photos. It is hard to comprehend that a million bathtubs go over the falls a minute at 65k/h. It was a beautiful day - hot in fact and rainbows formed over the falls. The noise and mist of the falls are always present. Tired out we returned to the room, had a really good well priced meal at the Casino - gave the Casino our donation and called it a day.
