Graham enjoyed his day so much yesterday, he went with Gwynne again in the truck. Huw (Gwynne and Eleri's son)  left to go to a truck show to enter the truck in a competition and then we all went for a drive to Pistyll Rhaeadr, a pretty waterfall and visited a church, Saint Melangell.  The shrine here dates from 1160 AD and is the earliest Romanesque shrine in Northern Europe.  We had dinner at Lowfield Inn where I was pleased to try blackpudding on a mushroom topped with welsh rarebit (hot cheese sauce) for entree which was delicious.  I then had faggots (a rissole made from pig’s offal, bacon and herbs) which is a traditional dish.  It was all tasty but very filling!!!
