Today we decided to drive south to Cannes and have a look around the other beaches.  There were a few beaches that seem to have more sand, but generally the beaches are mostly pebbles.  The little beachside towns are very pretty with narrow streets at all angles.  The huge number of mega yachts that are in the marinas is astonishing.  Other than a few little driving incidences like finding ourselves on an unmanned toll road without the right currency, wiping out the right hand side mirror and then nearly doing the same to a poor unsuspecting man doing his road running, the day was very pleasant!!!! - but we are getting the hang of driving on the wrong side of the road.
