We drove from Holyhead up through the north coast of Anglesey. The weather was blustery and drizzling rain so the beach was not too inviting but we saw lots of people camping, fishing or walking - seemed to be holidaying from England during the school holidays. There was a huge power station at Wylfa. We drove through Cemaes and around the rugged coastline. We arrived at Francis and David's at Dol-y-Neuadd, Cwmgolau at Llanfair Caereinion about 5pm. David is Graham's first cousin and this will be our home in Wales for the next five days or so. It was good to see Francis and David again as we had spent time in 2005 showing them Australia from the Margaret River region, Adelaide, Ayer's Rock to Cairns. After sometime catching up, we went for a tasty dinner at The Kings Head at Meifod, because Francis and David's son, Robert is the hotelier. A very pleasant evening in a typical country pub.
