When I hopped aboard the bus this early morning, I've seen a few families with young children....I thought to myself the parents would learn the hard way, this is publicized as an "extensive" and "exhausting" tour, why would parents bring toddlers on such expedition, under scorching, tiring sun??????
Boys was I right! Parents were frazzled by the last stop, kids were impatient and whining, so when the tour director announced we were heading for a dip at the beach, everybody widely smiled! The beach was gorgeous, the waters warm and everyone welcomed a swim, if not to cool off, then to get rid of the smelly sweat!
We stayed about an hour, no one wanted to jumps back aboard to return, for we had to do the merry-go-round of dropping people off to their respective resorts.......darn, my resort was the first pick up, therefore obliged to the extra 2 hours of the carousel, and had hoped to be the first dropped off, in vain, our resort was the last drop off; we left by 8am and got off by 6:30pm, I was sucked right out!
I made my way to the bar for a deserved frosty, which was spiked, when the bartender gave me table service, I was to polite to refuse a second since she had walked to me to offer kindly.......so I dutifully accepted the second frosty. Hungry, hot as hell, exhausted and 2 spiked frosty, bad combo, I pretty much tapped-danced my way back to my room, absolutely drunk! I probably look like a ballerina going through a mine field?
