I was here on 01 January 1982. I went to the famous casino here to cash a travellers check as all of the banks were closed for the holiday. I got a good exchange rate because I guess they wanted to put me in a good mood to gamble my money away. One look at the beautiful casino facilities was enough to tell me who was doing the winning around here. (Hint: It's not you and me!) So I kept my money in my pocket and went back to my nice hotel in nice Nice.
As a note: The weather was spectacular - even in "winter" - and the placed oozed wealth.
