Changing planes in Atlanta

When I was young, it was necessary to change planes in Atlanta pretty much no matter where you went from Baton Rouge. There used to be a saying that when you die and go to heaven, you have to pass through Atlanta to get there. With airlines having hubs in many other places in the meantime, there are probably other, shorter ways to heaven nowadays.
