Neither of us had much sleep last night but you'll not find a Scot hanging around in bed if there is a free hot breakfast to be had so we were up and at our table before the 9:00 a.m. cutoff. Enjoyed juice, fresh fruit, Mexican style frittatta with salsa and freshly brewed coffee

After breakfast, I walked up to University Avenue & picked up our car...a nice little red Dodge Caliber...and we drove out to Greenwich.

As forecast, it is quite chilly today & there were a few major downpours enroute to the east coast but, by the time that we reached the park, the sun had peaked through the clouds. The wind was still very strong so that I really had to hold on to the railing and to my camera as I climbed up to get a view and a shot but I did get to enjoy a stroll on the boardwalk out to the beach (which was the desired destination).  After a brief stop at St. Peter's Bay,  We drove back to Charlottetown & had a pleasant lunch at the Water Prince Corner Shop.

The original plan included a trip to St. Ann before the play...but that will have to wait for the next trip. (Neither of us is very interested in a 5 course meal anyway.)

Sounds like things are typical Maritime weather but that the hospitality is, as usual, excellent. Wish I were enjoying the beautiful dunes with you!

Re: My virgin expedition into travel blogs.
Well, there's the difference, Gloria. I never got away with anything. My mom always knew when I was lying (and still does).
