All I can Say is "Time" by Pink Floyd

I had all intentions of posting the rest of my trip across Eastern and Southern Europe, but to be honest it would be a slap together job that wouldn't be worth your time to read. Instead I am going to post a video that Phillip and I made from the trip, sorry the quality is a not so great due to the fact its online. I will have to show you all the rest later. I just finished reading the blog of Jesus Torres, a good friend of mine who just got finished studying for a semester in Chile. He spoke of the goodbyes he would have to say, how quickly the time came down to this point. And this very blog has been the thought in the back of my head for the last two weeks or month. I try not to think about it, but it keeps whispering in my ear or rolls of the lips of a friend..."going home..." "plane ticket.." times when i freeze...kind of like right now... I hoped to share with you all what's going through my head, the process of getting prepared to come back home, the sense of wondering if I will be seeing these people again, my roommates, classmates, boyfriend, hopefully a handful will remain lifetime friends, the chance of reunion will not only come in a sentence loaded with promises that was never intended to be carried out.
Well, when I find a better way to express this sense of preculture shock i will share it with you, but I'm afraid I can only leave you in the state I am...somewhere in between. And as I have said before, just because I am feeling this way does not mean that I don't love all of you and that you do not play a significant role in my life...it is not you i'm worried about coming back to, well maybe a little, it is America, the customs and ways of America, it is the fact of leaving people here. Sending much love, Britt
