Auckland is pretty much like most city's in New Zealand and that's pretty average. To be fair we're skint so have done nothing really of note only go to the cinema about 4 times! We did have a night which was funny and went in a japenese Karaoke place where you hire a room and sing for an hour, a la 'Lost in Translation' and that was a good laugh. Russell also had to wear a shit t-shiort signed by us all as he was the official loser of our running card game league. The game is called 'shit head' and we drew up a league and loser had to wear the t-shirt on our last night out. Vikki would like me mention that she was top of the league! I was second last, again! We've also said goodbye to our convoy, although we are meeting up with 2 of them in Chile which is cool. Other than that we're just waiting to leave. Managed to watch champions league on Wednesday morning which was good, (been really missing football). Arsenal looked impressive against an over the hill Milan side (Pato looks full of potential though). We didn't looke great but we're in the last 8 again so hopefully we can kick on this season! Bring on the Treble!
OK, verdict of NZ!
I think it's the best place we've been to so far (just). Bags of things to do that are really good, easy travel, beautiful scenery, great people and just generally good fun. I recommend that if you can, to come here on holiday, I guarantee you'll like it. Vikki reckons Africa was better and I'm torn a bit. Africa was good for different reasons and is why you come travelling as you feel like your discovering something new and it's out of your comfort zone. New Zealand is just a great place to have fun!
