It's bloody freezing.

Thats the first thing I noticed. So cold. And I know my tan is gonna disappear within a few weeks. Anyway, I had to endure nearly 12 hrs of flying to get back to the UK. I am on the best airline, which is a comforting thought. Did lots of sleeping and watching films. I am still in awe of how many you can choose from.

Eventually got back and got my mate Jed to pick me up from the airport. His was the only number I could remember. No-one knew when I was coming back, so there have been surprises all around for Mum, Dad, Sis, rellies, my mates, ex work colleagues etc etc.

Having the time away, has helped a lot. I feel a lot more confident, which is the main improvement. I feel more determined, less likely to settle for less, and less likely to take peoples shit.

I have a few business ideas, which I am seeking help with, in seeing if I can get them off the ground. I am back with the band again, as I love the local music scene and enjoy being a part of it. For all of you that heard the comedy and ballad songs, that is something I am going to do separately from the band, but I will keep you all informed as to their progress, and if anything happens with them. Eventually, I think I would like to go back to Ocean Beach, even if only for a year or something. Miss the weather and the feel of the place. Plus I would get to see my cousin Danny in Seattle.

I am back at home for the moment and will be looking to move out, but in all honesty, I don't really like the UK that much anymore, and round here is really pricey. I know they say the grass is always greener on the other side, but I think it actually is in this case. And for those of you that have it, I am back on my old mobile number, so buy me a beer because I am very skint. Ha ha. I can also say "where are my car keys?" in 20 languages. I just need to pass my test now!!!

If anyone, wants to ask me any questions about the travelling, or things back home, feel free to e-mail me. I hope everyone has enjoyed reading it, as I have enjoyed writing it. At some point, photo's of Australia will go up, but I have to get the film developed and put onto cd first. Need a job and money for that. A mail will go out if you on the list. Anyway everyone, it's been emotional.

For the last time....

Just read and enjoyed your account of time in Australia and Bangkok. Interesting to read how younger generation views the world. Did you really run out of money in Bangkok or had someone hacked you. Water under the bridge really.
