Downtown LA looked ike a bit of a dump, but aside from that, the same as a city. The guy giving me a taxi ride was on the scam for my cash, but i have caught on quick and I even haggled a few dollars off the standard price to get my cheap ride.
And so, here I am in Los Angeles airport, bored and typing this.
So wierd to think that I have lived in America, if only for a brief moment. Now? I can't wait. In a few hours, I'm gonna be in Fiji. For everyone that has ever known me babbling on about this place? I did it. Bring it on.
So the last few days have mainly been spent drinking though we finally did something on Ellis's day off and went to Seaworld. It was pretty cool. Got soaked in the drenchzone of the killer whales, saw far to many sharks, penguins, seals and loads of other random things, but it was cool I've had 2 leaving parties and loads of offers off the fine people in Ocean Beach to get me to move there. When I get a chance, i'll put up some pictures, but to you all, you guys all rule and thanks for letting me hang out!!. I think Ellis is gonna be lonely. If you read this Ellis, you can doooooo it (in rob schneider accent). I'm gonna miss Ocean Beach alot, and like said previously, it would be too easy to just end up living here. I do hope to go back. Having my final morning sorted by Dave and meeting Ellis on his lunch break, I caught the greyhound to Los Angeles. The view on the way up the coast, consisted on beach on one side and housing on the other, but aside from that, it jut looked like England (without the 100's of SUV's on the motorway). The guy sitting next to me on the coach was busted for not having the 'relevant papers' on him, and was carted off somewhere at a check point. Unlucky ducky!!.
