Whoa. The new map on this site looks pretty freaky. But I have been to Brazil. Ha ha. Better get my skates on. I have been busy sorting stuff out for the future.

The cd is done. The tracklisting consists of
1. Chemistry
2. My body's defect
3. 4 Miles
4. 99
5. Online Caroline
6. The Sewer Song

If i can upload songs on this site, I will look into it for you, but a few things have come to light of this:
1.I write good songs. I mean I'm not blowing my own trumpet, but I think my lyrics are clever and I write a good tune.
2.I have a bad voice. I think when writing songs, you tend to want to sing your own stuff, but on hearing my voice on playback, I'm quite happy if Top of the Pops don't come knocking. Its in tune, but if I can't sing to the seagulls on the beach, I have no hope.
3.My comedy songs rule though. I played Online Caroline and The Sewer Song to some people the other night, when we were having a party/bonfire on the beach at 2 in the morning. They had people laughing and singing along. For anyone that has heard the Burger King song or the Cider song, they are better than both of them, but the same idea/style. 2 of the best things I have written. And my voice don't sound too bad on those ones (ironically). Maybe, I'm not destined to be deep and woeful. Comedy rocks.

Speaking of Cider. It was Ellis's Birthday the other day(the big 30), so we went to an Irish bar downtown. And they had............STRONGBOW. You can bet you life I had loads after going 2 months of drinking the enemy. Cider man through and through. I even had Sheperds Pie (which they don't seem to get the 'pie' thing over here) T'was a good night.

I have been looking into getting working visa's for this country for maybe 6 months time, just incase I decide to come back, which is looking likely. Dispite California being too expensive, the little pocket of Ocean Beach has won me over, and I could stay here. It has the sea, surf, sun and five mins away there is the city of San Diego, so there is loads of things to do down there if I get bored of Ocean Beach. Or something like that...

And also last minute plans to see my cousin Danny in Seattle have been scuppered due to the airline prices nearly tripling between checking flights and booking them. I won't hesitate like that again. Its kinda annoyed me, cause it wasn't something I planned when I set off, but the more I thought about it, the more I wanted to do. Its a shame 'cause we have had a few phone calls with Danny and its all been sweeeeeeeeeet.

I think this maybe my last entry from America (some of you may be pleased), but I do like it here, and am determined to come back and get work/live. I think its healthy to move around the globe. And I have been in UK for a long time right? USA has been laughs all the way though, if only to see a few of the places. In all honesty, it was never somewhere I had wanted to go. but it is somewhere I have come to enjoy for a multitude of reasons. It will be a shame to go, but everything works out, then I will be back here, before my 28th biffday, so watch this space. Ellis and I have been yacking about business plans, doing Art in NY, setting up companies etc etc and how ironic that in my last few days, we have made a mini Michael Myers movie and started oil painting. Mine ain't great, but if I finish it in time, I will see if I can upload it for all you fine people.

Things I'm gonna miss?

The thousands of redheaded women that have been hiding from the UK all these years and hanging out in Ocean Beach.
The beautiful exchange rate at the moment
The cheapness of things
The American eagerness to find out what life is like on my side of the pond.
I think I might actually miss Ellis. He's a good bloke and anyone that can put me up for free for nearly 2 months, deserves a bit of a break in life.
The weather.
Woman on the beach wearing not alot.
Listening to the Beatles everynight
Listening to rock/metal tunes, on the radio, in the day time. And I don't mean Limp Bizkit. I'm talking, Alice in Chains, Tool, Soundgarden, Metallica.........on comercial radio. The UK sucks in that respect.

I don't know if it has escaped anyones attention either, but everyone seems to be driving on the wrong side of the road.
