And this is my last entry from New York. Shit, I would have never thought I'd ever go to New York and now it's been and gone.
Overall, I thought I was cool. It would have been more productive of me to catch more subway, but I don't regret walking everywhere. Hey, i should be used to it by now right? I've seen some cool stuff here. I'm hoping to get some more photo's up, once I get to a machine that I can upload photos from (they are few and far between)
I could easily come here again though, or move here (anywhere is better than farnborough). There was still a few places that I didn't see, but I'm sure I won't lose any hair over it...........doh!!
The last few days have been really chilled. I went to a Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art, which was cool, if not a little short. I went with Caroline, and was under the impression that it was going to be a museum, but it was just a room in a building.....seriously. They were showing work from Harvey Kurtzman, who founded the MAD magazine and is apparently a dude amongst the drawing world. It was pretty good though. I love looking at other peoples shitty drawings and sketches. i think somewhere, it inspires me to get my finger out of my butt and do something worthwhile with my remaining days. Only time will tell on that one. His stuff was really cool and they had loads of other artists kissing his arse saying how he had inspired them etc etc blah blah. Bought a book by some bloke that used to do short animations for a program on BBC2. I know that Lawrence, Adam and I would always bark on them the following morning at college. So had a look at that and watched Shrek 2, but apart from that, i have just been hanging out at Carolines and Becca's watching films and having a laugh (at my expense......again)
