Where I stayed
Huerta de Vida farm
(fyi, the town name is pronounced two-new-shawn)
Seriously. Today is our day off, so we´re in town (a 2 mile walk). This is just a short entry to let our world know we are alive and well. We sleep in a tent, there is no electricity, no running water and we really do poop in a bucket attached to a toilet seat under a tree. We work on a farm in the morning and evening (avoiding the heat of the day) and construction of a natural construction house during the day - making by hand the mud plaster. It´s an amazing site; we´ll have photos later. At the end of the day we bathe in a ditch! It´s cold, but it feels good. More later, we need to get back for the best part of each day - siesta!!
