Hotel Staubbach provides free breakfast. It's a selection of dry cereals, fresh-baked bread, cheese, ham, fresh fruits, milk, OJ, hot chocolate, doffee. The breakfast area has the view of the waterfalls and the mountains.

We went to Mt. Pilatus. We took a train from Lauterbrunnen to Alpnachstadt with transfers in Interlaken Ost, and Alpnach Dorf. We took the cogwheel railway  all the way up to Mt. Pilatus. The ride was both fun and scary for me having fear of heights. It is the world's steepest cogwheel railway. The view along the way up was awesome. When we reached the top, we climbed up more steps. The view from the top was breathtaking. Switzerland is indeed a beautiful country. The people are very friendly and helpful with directions. Unlike in some places in Italy that we visited.

We stopped at the coop store in Interlaken Ost to buy an extra luggage and gifts to our friends in NY. We had dinner at the Asian Restaurant. The food was really good and the price was reasonable. We also stopped at the Victorinox store and bought some souvenirs. The manager saw us wearing our "his and hers" Tagheuer wrist watch  showed us the diamond-rich aquaracer. That watch was beautiful. But no can do. The price was too much for our budget.

There was live music in the nearby hotel and we can hear it from our room but after 10PM, I've noticed that our area was dark and quiet.
