Internet charges on Norwegian Gem are as follow:
Time Package Plan:
250 minutes for $100 ($0.40 per minute)
100 minutes for $55 ($0.55 per minute)
Pay as you go $0.75 per minute
I bought the 100 minutes time package and I was billed $58.95. Tax/gratuity must have been included. The service is so slow. It will eat up your minutes fast.
Today is Easter Sunday and we have a lot of AM activities ahead of us so we ordered room service for breakfast which consists of assorted bread/pastries, fresh fruits, coffee, milk and OJ. We went to the Bliss Lounge for a Family Easter Hunt where we received our instructions for Treasure Hunt. Before we started looking for treasures, we drop off Grandma in Spinnaker Lounge for Easter Sunday Mass with Father Richard. After we found the first treasure, I decided to attend mass. I took my 7 yo with me. After they found all the six treasures, my DH, DS and 10yo DD joined us in the mass. Father Richard was already giving his homily. After the mass we proceeded to the Tree Tops Kids club for pictures with the Easter Bunny. Each children received a white stuff toy bunny with a royal blue ribbon around its neck that says: Happy Easter 2008 on the left side, on the right side, it says, NCL Kid's Crew. Then we went to Le Bistro for the Cruise Critics Meet and Greet. The following crew that were present: Frank Juliussen - Captain; Prem Kainikkara - Hotel Director; Julie Valeriote - Cruise Director; Matko Candric-Staff Captain; Andres Nedal-Civil Engineer; Julian Brackenberry - Asst.

Animal Towel- Eater Bunny
Hotel Director and Mirsad Bucuk- F& B Director. ( I included the names of the crew here because I was planning to copy and paste this for a review that I plan to write in the cruise critic board). We booked our next day dinner and had lunch in Blue Lagoon. The food was good. Then we dropped off the kids to their respective kid's club. I took a nap and at 3pm I went to the Stardust Theater with mom for Port and Shopping 411 by Corne, the ship's shopping consultant. Then DH and the kids joined me in time for Corne throwing away some freebies. We were not able to catched anything nor won any of the raffles. But it was a very interesting and informative talk. Now we know where to go/shop in Nassau and Freeport. The kids, DH and grandma decided to play bowling which cost $5.00/game while I went back to the cabin to rest/read my book. (I just recovered from a flu just before we went on a cruise). At 7:30pm we watched a show: World Beat. As described in the ship's daily news, it is a musical voyage around the world, exploring the rhythmic music, beautiful scenery and exquisite costumes that includes Irish Tap Dancing, soulful cadences of NYC street stomps, haunting drums of Africa, dramatic Kodo rhythms of Asia and castanets of Spain. It was very entertaining. Then we had dinner in Teppenyaki (Hibachi). The food was very good. They have a surcharge of $25.00 for adults and half price for the kids. It was worth every penny.
