no need to talk to much about fraser island.. it's s popular and well known... I had great three days there.. would have like to stay a bit more but not too much... dowbside is that it s so touristy... i did not like most of the people the 4wd self drive with a group.. as i wasn't so keen to share the car with stranger i wasn t on the same wave with.. it s up to you many friends did this thing and great fun got drunk, smoked.. the best if you are with enough friends to get a car just for yourself.. or if you have your own landcruiser and known well how to drive on the beach and deal with sand...

i was then just staying in a kind of resort with domitory.. and went jsut hanging around and visited the lake, the dunes and some other stuff with older tourists on a 4wd from there.. was great fun i was there with 3 other guys.. only down thing, the dingos and the sharks.. i had no problem with the dingos.. but because of the sharks i wasn t brave anough to go for a bloody dip... a shame when you see this great beaches and ocean..

the best of this trip we organised from Noosa.. was the return through Rainbow bay and beach.. a great place there which o would have like to stay longer.. and for the surfie.. great spot when the condition are on.. big swell.. we did a drive by bus on the beach to Noosa was an amazing trip... really a nice place worth a stop between Noosa and Fraser, Hervey bay.. not a typical young backpackers stop.. great for couple too..
