Noosa... used to be great.. now thanks to the cheap airlines.. too many rich victorians.. and kinda aussie jet set.. tv stars.. too many tourists..
however still a great place to visit.. if you have a big wallet full of 100 notes you will love it.. if not you will struggle to survive on a budget.. but you have some Backpackers and you can camp, sleep in your van too..
the surf isn t as good as the gold coast.. always smaller and when great.. the best spots, the poins, are almost as crowded as north shore hawai i...
some tips.. you can sleep in a backpacker on the sunshine beach.. better beach.. then you can explaore the Noosa national park... so great.. many bays and great white sandy beaches.. not so crowded because you have to walk to get there.. and surf there.. somehing that the average lazy aussie doesn t like.. so if not at highseason and on weekends.. you will be on your own..
the surf in noosa is good for beginners.. good to attend a surfschool. Noosa longboards surf shoop is good, they know what they are talking about.. they were surfers before we were born..
you can explore the beaches north od Noosa.. like rainbow beach... great beach and surf.. swell magnet.. south you have endless beaches and surf spots to Brisbane..
you can stop to visit the Glasshouse mountains..
a tip from friends in brisaben but i haven t been there.. check more west.. the interlands.. apparently even better than Byron interland.. very green.. garden of eden style..
enjoy sunny coast
