We roamed the souk, shopped some stuff and clicked away the cameras whenever we had the chance. The Souk is well recommended to any traveller.
We had lunch at Wafi Mall near the Encounter Zone. The helpings here were big for us Asians. I had to have Mongolian again (I mean....food :))
We then returned to Souk Khan Murjan again (thats how addictive the Souk was) before proceeded to the outer side of Wafi Mall for pics taking. Both souk Khan Murjan and Wafi Mall are rich in colours and characters, a real feast to the senses.
By 5pm, we took a taxi to Dubai Mall & Burj Khalifa. Yep we came back to the peak. Its for the final pic taking at Burj Khalifa plus the highlight that we missed earlier. Since it is the largest Musical Fountain in the world (I was told, not sure, the other biggy , if not mistaken in LasVegas), we definitely didn't want to miss it. By 6pm, the Fountain show began to charm us for about a good 2 minutes. It was again an amazing experience. Check out the fountain video below. :)
After the show, we went for dinner back at the Creek. By then, I was a near "Expert" of the Creek (LOL). My wife was asking me whether I knew my ways after the taxi dropped us at a different locale (not that far from the intended restaurant). "Sure", I said, confidently. :)
We had a romantic touristy dinner by the Creek that night at an authentic Lebanese/Arabian seafood restaurant rich in history: Byat Al Wakeel Restaurant. The building is reported to be one of the oldest building in old Dubai. We opted to dine on a platform above the Creek waters instead of chillin in the inner dine area. In fact, most diners prefer the open on-the-Creek platform
