October 13th 2007 - Day 124

So, after getting very little sleep we were awake bright and early in the airport. We had been moved on three times in the night just as we had dropped off so it had not been a good night. At this point we were still unsure as to our plans in Caracas as we had not heard back from our friend Homero who had only just arrived back there himself after 5 years in the States.

We managed to check out emails in the airport however and this certainly raised our spirits as he had replied to say he would be picking us up at the airport and we were good to stay at his place in Caracas. Back of the net. The next few hours dragged by until it was time to get the 5 hour flight to Venezuela. The food on the plane was hardly worth mentioning and we were both starving after our night in the airport so Garvo filled up on beers as he got re-accustomed with Peruvian beer, Cusquena.
