Visit to the natives

Day 75 - August 25th 2007
We are up surprisingly early after the previous nights exploits as the weather is still pretty good. We decide to head into Ladysmith town centre for the 'Show and Shine' which is essentially a car show in the street with loads of old cars on display. After a brief shower, we head to the pub for a bite to eat and a game of horse shoes and some bean bag game which is actually quite good.
We then head to Chemainus which is a native village with murals on all the walls and oddly a British shop selling all sorts of goodies from home. We wander round the old and new towns before retiring back to the house for a bbq and a couple of beers. We then settle in to watch an episode of Planet Earth (a gift for Paul and Val) before we all dose off in front of the tv.
