Goodbye to Newquay. First stop was Bedruthan Steps where we walked down to a headland to look at tbe formations, and the sheer cliffs. Then on toTintagel, steep walk to look at the ruins but decided not to go further over a steepclimb and narrow ravine to the island part. On to Clovelly, what a walk down over the cobbled streets, then back up again. Not quite as I remembered it, commercialism again, free parking but a charge to get in. Then on to Ilfracombe and our B&B, and another long walk into the town and harbour to eat - had subway. The harbour had an interesting statue of a naked, pregnant woman with one side showing the inner workings, but the sun was low so not sure that side is clear in the photo. Statue is called 'Verity' by some famous artist from Ilfracombe.
