First stop today was Marlborough, with very wide street and interesting shops. On to Avebury where we strolled around the stones and on the top of the dyke. The museum was very interesting, and with our NZ Historic Places card it was another free entry! Drove round Salisbury where they wouldn't let us park without paying heaps, so we drove on.
Then on to Stonehenge where there was huge congestion and more roadworks. We used the side road and viewed it from there, been there done that!
Through the New Forest (yes we saw some ponies) to Beaulieu National Car Museum where Jenn and I wandered around and had a ride on the monorail, looked at the Abbey and still sat and waited for the men to finish looking at cars and motorbikes!
B & B near Christchurch! We walked round the marina, and looked around at the castle and cathedral - well, priory actually, but it sounds good to say Christchurch Cathedral.
