Found a B & B called The Old Forge which was quirky. We shared a family room and Jenn and Denn had a bed in a nook and it was a little short!
Went to dinner at a thatched pub called The Wagon and Wheels which was built in the 1600s and was featured in 'Pickwick Papers'.
After a lovely English Breakfast and conversation with the hosts about the area and tbe history of the house, we went back to have coffee with Diane. Then on south via motorways to Stratford on Avon for a wander around. Then through tbe Cotswolds and all the lovely Thatched Cottages - I really shouldn't keep taking photos out the window as we drive by! Stopped at Bourton on the Water to look at the model village, which is a model of the actual village, and very quaint. Stopped in Oxford to have a wander around, the place was full of young people - students, and bicycles!
