"I look at the side of your face as the sunlight comes streaming through the window in the autumn sunshine. And all the time going to Coney Island I'm thinking, wouldn't it be great if it was like this all the time?" - Van Morrison
My friend Matt and I decided to get out for a while during Spring Break. We contemplated doing something in the city but it was supposed to rain and we didn't want to be stuck in Manhattan so we decided to go to the New York Aquarium in Coney Island. Neither of us had been there in a while so we thought it would be fun. I decided to bring my little cousin, Alison, too, since I know she loves the aquarium.
We all had a great time walking around the aquarium and seeing all of the fish and sea life. We especially got a kick out of one particularly cute sea lion who would come up to the glass and follow around the arms of a little girl
After spending some time at the aquarium we decided to walk around Coney Island. It was cold but nice out, and the boardwalk was actually really pretty. I put Alison on two rides, a roller coaster and the Frog Hopper, and then we spent some time hanging out on the beach. Alison loved playing in the sand and checking out the view of the boardwalk. When we were done on the beach we took a walk over to the original Nathan's and got some lunch. Matt and Ali both got hot dogs, I got a corn dog and we got a pretzel to share. The food was good and it was an all-around fun day.

01 - NY Aquarium
. He was very playful and absolutely adorable! We also liked seeing the seals, sharks and jellyfish and we got to revisit the greatest part of the aquarium... the part that we would always run to when we were younger - the big waterfall! After spending some time at the aquarium we decided to walk around Coney Island.
