My friend Matt and I decided to go into the city on the last day of Spring Break for one last good time before we were thrown into the world of term papers and finals. I hadn't been to the Jekyll and Hyde club since I was little and I had been wanting to go for a while so we decided to go. We took the train into the city and first walked over to the World of Disney on 5th Avenue. I wanted to get my little cousin a Hannah Montana poster for her room but they didn't have anything so we walked around for a while and left without buying anything.
We then made our way over to the Jekyll and Hyde Club. The restaurant is usually packed but it was empty today and we got a table right away. I had the crab cakes and a burger and Matt had mozzerella sticks and the ribs. The food was good but extremely overpriced. The bill came to $90 for just the two of us! The entertainment was fun, with costumed performers making their rounds around the restaurant and interacting with the guests, and all of the props and statues on the walls moved and talked. It was fun but nothing special. For all that money I won't be back anytime soon.
When we were done eating we made out way over to Central Park since it was only a block away. We walked around for a while and enjoyed the gorgeous day. We climbed on some rocks, went to the visitor's center and made our way through some tunnels before
walking ten blocks up to Rockefeller Center. I called my dad since we were going to go home with him, and he was able to leave in a half-hour. Matt and I spent the time walking around and looking in some stores before we left at 6:00.
