Despite the fact that the day before had been a long one and we didn't get to bed until late, it was another early morning for us today.  We all got up and got ready.  But, shocker, Mike took forever to get out of bed!  Alison came into our room bright and early, still in her pajamas, to try to wake him up but he wasn't budging.

We were finally all dressed and ready to go by 10:00, when we decided to go for breakfast.  Lapp's had been really good the day before so we headed back over there.  We sat at the same table as the day before and the food was again delicious.  It was a great family restaurant that I would be sure to try again on future trips to Lancaster.  When we were finished eating, Mike started to not feel well.  He had a really bad stomach ache and the check hadn't arrived yet so Mike and I decided to take Alison and walk back to the resort.  It was only a two-minute drive, so the walk couldn't possibly have been bad, right?  Well, not exactly.  It was only two blocks, but both blocks were straight uphill and it was already really hot out.  After what seemed like a mile-long trek back to the resort, we finally made it back.  Since it was so hot out we decided to go in through the lobby and walk through the indoor corridors to our room rather than walking around outside to the C Entrance.

When we got back to our room we all relaxed and watched TV.  I called my friend Jen again to fill her in on what we had done at Hershey Park the day before and to see if she had planned anything else for her upcoming Lancaster vacation.  After fifteen minutes of talking on the phone and watching PBS Kids with Alison, mom, dad, Aunt Stacy, and Alan made it back to the resort and met us in our room.  We hung out for a little while before getting Oreo and heading out to the Tanger Outlet Center.

I had gone to the Tanger Outlets in Long Island the month before.  My cousins Cari, Jessica, Samantha, and I were all at our vacation home in Rocky Point at the same time and we spent SEVEN hours shopping at the hundreds and hundreds of stores there.  However, the Tanger Outler Center in Lancaster wasn't as good.  There weren't as many stores but the ones that were there were pretty good.  We walked around and spent some time in Skechers, Nike, Big Dog, PacSun and Claires.  Oreo loved walking around and the few people also shopping loved seeing her!  Although there weren't many stores we still managed to spend a pretty penny.  After a good three and a half hours we were all pretty worn out so we headed back to the Lancaster Host Resort.

We hung out around the hotel, watching TV and pretty much just relaxing.  With Labor Day just around the corner the hotel was getting really crowded.  For the past few days we had been some of the only ones in the pool and hanging out on the patio.  When we got back to the room and went out onto the patio that afternoon, though, we were shocked to see that the pool was PACKED!  There were hundreds of kids and adults alike swimming and splashing around.  We decided to skip the pool and just relax in our rooms since it was so crowded.

After an hour of lounging around we decided to head out to the Rockvale Outlet Center, which was just as far as the Tanger Outlets but in the opposite direction down Lincoln Highway East.  There were hundreds and HUNDREDS of stores... I had never seen anything like it.  As big as the Tanger Outlet Center in Rocky Point was, this outlet center was four times bigger.  We just drove around to the stores we wanted to go to, though, since we were pretty tired and had already spent so much money at the Tanger Outlet stores.  First we went to Cracker Barrel since we don't have any around here and it's always fun looking around the country store while on vacation.  We didn't eat there, though.  We also went to another Big Dog outlet.  We love Big Dog but there aren't any in New York City so we always take advantage of the Big Dog stores when we go to the outlets on vacation.  Then we headed to Payless, Sony and The Book Warehouse.  I got some really nice stuff!

After no more than two hours, we left and drove over to K-Mart.  Dad wanted to see if they had a small golf bag for Michael's golf stuff.  They didn't have any, though, which probably didn't matter considering dad and Mike haven't gone golfing since then.

It was pretty late by the time we were finished shopping and we hadn't eaten since breakfast, so we decided to go back to Cactus Willie's for dinner.  Back through the bad neighborhoods we went until we were back in the other tourist-friendly section of Lancaster.  We were again seated in the back section of the restaurant and the food was just as delicious as it had been on our first night.  It was another great restaurant that we will again go to on any future trips to Lancaster.

When we were done eating we drove back to the resort and organized and looked through all of the stuff we had bought at the different outlet stores throughout the day.  We also watched some TV and just relaxed.

It was 6:00 and shaping into another gorgeous night, and the pool had completely emptied out since earlier that afternoon.  It was our last night in Lancaster for this trip so dad, Mike, Alan and Alison decided to again go in the pool.  Mom, Aunt Stacy, and I lounged around the patio and on the lounge chairs next to the pool.  We had usually only stayed around the area for an hour or so, but tonight we were there all night!  The pool closed pretty early, at 9:00, since the summer season was over but the Labor Day weekend hadn't officially started yet.  We stayed out until the pool closed and it was a great night!  There was a basketball hoop in the pool and Alison had a great time throwing a ball around.  Mom, Aunt Stacy, Oreo, and I also greatly enjoyed lounging around and just taking in the scenery.

At 9:00 the pool closed and everyone got out and dried off.  We all hung out on the patio for a while until we decided to go in.  While dad, Mike, Alan and Alison changed, I lounged around and watched repeats of the last two episodes of Will and Grace from the previous season.  They were absolutely hysterical, I love that show!

When everyone was done changing we decided to take a walk to the lobby while Alan relaxed in his room.  Mike and I played with Alison in the kids area while mom and Aunt Stacy got coffee at the bar and dad relaxed in the lounge.  We took a few pictures in the lobby before going back to the gift shop to pick up a few last minute souvenirs.  We also went into the small Concierge outcove to pick up some brochures to take home as extra souvenirs.

When we got back to our rooms we started to think about where we wanted to go for breakfast the next day.  It was our last day of the vacation and we wanted it to be some place good.  There were a few brochures and Amish Country magazines in our room when we arrived, so we looked through them to see if we could find any information.  There weren't many restaurant reviews, though, so mom and I took a walk back to the Concierge outcove in the lobby to pick up some brochures on restaurants, as well as information on a few Farmer's Markets that we were thinking about stopping at before driving home.  We were back in the room by 10:30 and we decided to take a walk to the game room.

It was nice out so we walked around outside, by the pool, to get to the game room.  We were usually the only ones in there but there were already two teenage guys in there at the time.  They were in the back room, though, so we hardly saw them.  We played ski ball, basketball and pinball.  Mom and I also played a game of air hockey but I got sick of it after ten minutes and dad took over for me.  Then dad, Mike, Aunt Stacy and Alan played two games of pool.

After they finished their first game, Alison was getting cranky since she was sick of the games and was way overtired so I decided to go back to the room with her.  I didn't want to walk back by myself, though, even though the room was close by, so mom walked us back to our room and then she went back to the game room.  Alison and I laid in bed and watched The Simpsons, Seinfeld, and then Conan.  I was so sad that it was our last night in Pennsylvania but I decided to make the most out of it and enjoy the rest of the night instead of complaining.  It was really nice just relaxing with Alison.  I'm very close to all of my cousins, and Alison is more like a little sister than a cousin.  She's over our house all the time and we see her every day.  While she can be a brat, she's the cutest thing and a little actress.  She always cracks us all up and I was glad to get to spend some quality time with her on our last night in Lancaster.  She kept saying that it was "just like a sleep over!"

After an hour and a half everyone came back to our rooms.  We all took showers and changed before going to bed on the last night of our trip to Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
