greetings. during my days here i spend alot of time walking around and enjoying the city here but as you know i am also learning to speak the language. there are lots of things to say about the differences between swedish and english as far as word order and vocabulary go but here is a list of some of the things i have said incorrectly to my great embarassment... the first phrase is what i indended to say, the second is a translation of what i ended up proclaiming.

i would like a beer please... a glass of cold eel would taste nice
good idea... nice hibernation
how much does this cost?... how much do you cost?
would you like a bottle of water?... would you like pork drippings? (that was really strange)
your sister looks strong...your sister looks enormous
i will be cooking crayfish today... i shall be a kitchen crayfish
it's really hot in here...you look very sexy (this was said to amanda's little sister and i have taken endless amounts of crap for this)
