Show trip route
We ate at IHOP (International House of Pancakes) and got asked on a date by the waiter, He gave us his cell phone number, but neither of us has a cell phone at the moment. The pancakes I had were lovely Then we caught the I-Ride trolley down to Seaworld. On the trolley ride, real excitement kicked in for the first time. You know, the kind where you have butterflies in your stomach? When I saw the big ‘Seaworld’ sign outside the park I could barely control myself. Katie and I seemed more excited than the 9 year old kids that were there
We decided we wanted to watch 3 shows…The whale and dolphin show, Clyde and Seamore take on Pirate Island and the Shamu Show. The dolphin show was at 13:15, so we went on Kraken, the other rollercoaster. It was pretty intense! I couldn’t believe how much more scary it was being so high up…the rides at altern towers don’t go very high at all. It’s mental how much scarier they suddenly become when they are really high! It was great though. After Kraken, we got our stuff out of our locker and went to watch the dolphin show, which also had acrobats and dancers. It was pretty good.
We went on Journey to Atlantis after, which was right next door. This was good, we got soaked! The weather was great though, so we dried off quickly. I wanted a necklace with an Orca on it, and in the Atlantis gift shop I found one that I loved….but I said I’d go back after looking in Shamus gift shop. So then we walked around looking for food. It is surprisingly difficult to find food in Seaworld…unless you want crips or ice cream. Clyde and Seamore was at 15:15. The plan was to get food and then go to Shamus gift shop for a look, and go back to the Atlantis if necessary. Then to go back and get the ride photo from Manta. We didn’t do any of this before Clyde and Seamore. We got caught up looking at the Orcas and the Shamu Stadium! They were amazing….2 of them we hovering right by the glass looking at us. I could have stayed with them all day (Orcas are my favourite animal in the world) but we had stuff to do….so of we went to Clyde and Seamore
So now it was our mission to find food. We found some, but I didn’t eat mine…I fed it to some big birds. We went in the shark encounter, and walked around a bit, and then we only ad half an hour to go back and get our Manta photo and the jewellery I wanted, so we split up. I got the jewellery (there was only 1 necklace left!), Kate got the photo, and then we met up and went to the Shamu Stadium. The show was great, but shorter than I executed. I recorded the whole thing. There was some very touching footage at the beginning before it started. It was showing how everything on the Earth is one big family. They showed 2 people smiling and it said ‘sisters’ and went on to show all kinds of different animals: - 2 lions playing…(cousins), 2 fighting dear …(inlaws), a lizard…(brother), a hatching bird…(daughter), a big penguin with a baby…(father) and finally a picture of our Planet with the word ‘Mother’ and then the world ‘Earth’ added after. It really was beautiful…the message was to look after our mother earth because she is our home and how we all live here together, with every animal just as important as the other. It was an ad for Seaworld Conservation.
After the Shamu show, we came out of the stadium into darkness
So we had a great day, and we’ll have another one tomorrow. We are going to Magic Kingdom…I’m lovin’ it.
