Singapore. My gateway to China. I arrived yesterday in the afternoon. Flight was very convenient, no issues. Met Gustav at the Sembawang station, which is in the northern part of Singapore. I stay with Gustav and Junee. We went out to Clarke Quay, first to a place called "Crazy Elephant" listening to live music. Later on, changed to the club on the upper floor called "China One" that also featured a live band. Other than the one in "Crazy Elephant", this one was a Chinese one, and playing really good (for the location). Price for a pint of beer starts at 11 to 12 SGD (Singaporean Dollar). Divide by two, and you get the price in Euros. Today on Saturday, we all went to Elin's and Kai's wedding, following a muslim solemnization ceremony. Very interesting, very nice, indeed. Tomorrow, the ceremony will continue! The weather in Singapore: a bit more than 30 degrees, high humidity. No rain until now.
