So flew to Austin on a plane with more comfort then the one I flew from Madrid in! American Airlines 737. Nice seats and tv shows played. Made it ahead of time. Dallas to Austin was 35 minutes, they did refreshment service and by time finished with everyone was already collecting our cups for landing. Smoothest landing all trip in a MD 80.

Drove to Kingsland and met up with the family, surprised Mom by showing up early after messaging her that we would probably be late (In truth we thought we would be, but plane landed early and I avoided most of rush hour traffic going a back way.)

Ronnie (Brother) took is over to his workshop where hehas built a nice studio apartment (carpenter-talented brother!) The next day went and visited Buddy (another brother) who lives on the property I was raised on.The old house is now a workshop and he does some beautiful stuff which he is rightfully proud of.

We drove back to austin and went to the capital building and Walmart Supercenter as well as Half Price books (got two great books on rennaisance spain! We drove to Biobrother's that night and ate dinner with him and his wife at Chilis, Hubby Loved it! Him and Blake geeked out most of the night.

It was a good day.
