I thought I would add some words while Kerry is preparing the major coverage of our last 24 hours.

We have been in Finland just over 48 hours and largely adapted to the timezone differences, and we have also seen a lot and traveled some distance - but I think we may have pushed ourselves just a little too far. We found little things like difficulties in finding a suitable place to eat tonight just a little too stressful - and more stressful than it needed to be.

Overall Finland is proving very pleasant. We are impressed with the way things are run and the friendly attitude of the people we have met. The museums have each added a new and important slant to our understanding of the Finnish story and how they have come to be who they are today.

Our travel arrangements have generally proved effective and well-placed. Tonight we had our first hiccup with the accommodation prebooking - with the parking we were relying on proving to be a block and a half away at a pay parking garage.

The technology has so far proved largely faultless. The problems to date have only been 1. our first incoming call on our Go-Sim global roaming card not being audible 2. my bank credit card not being recognised by an ATM machine and 3. a slow automatic system update on the first night causing a delay in a system reboot to the point of suggesting a problem. Oh and our GPS navigation system taking a few minutes to find us in Finland - after all it last had us in Australia.

I will sign off at this point and let Kerry tell the story of the last day.
