Minsk was incredibly sterile and clean compared to Russia. It was also pissing down with rain so it wasn't very pleasant. We did manage to have a look through the GUM department store and realised it was nothing more than a bric-a-brac store with a lot of junk. Pretty sad because it was one of their more prestigious department stores in the country.
Also had a bit of fun running up a big communist monument in the middle of the countryside. More thumbnails ...
