Byron Bay, the hippie town and also the home town of the well known Paul Hogan, Crocodile Dundee. This one of the biggest party towns for backpackers up the east coast. We arrived late in the evening, so our bus driver Claire booked us all a table at Cheeky Monkies Bar, which turned into a night of free beer, free tours and cheap food. The next day we spent touring around and then lounging on the beach with our gang. The night also involved lounging on the beach, with the gang!!
