We arrived back in Vancouver at about 10pm. What a difference to go through customs in Canada. "Please go to the next booth", the officer at the front of the line said to us. We are so polite here. By the time we got through customs and retrieved our luggage, caught the airport shuttle and arrived at our hotel in downtown Vancouver, it was after midnight. We were still on UK time though and quite hungry. Good thing room service was still available. We managed to get some sleep through the night, even though it was technically daytime for us. The next day we were headed home, back to the island. We got a late check out since we were pretty jet lagged and got the 3pm ferry.
We worried about how we would feel coming home and then leaving again after only 10 days. It was not too difficult to once we got a dump load of snow and were freezing to death. It snowed for 3 days straight! Thank goodness we were getting out of this mess.
Before we knew it the 10 days had come and gone, we barely got to see anyone and get all the stuff done we needed to. Off to Vancouver to start our way to Mexico!
