For those of you who don't know what we are up to, here it is:

We have sold our house, had 2 large garage sales to get rid of a lot of our stuff. We have compacted all our belongs into a 5X10 storage locker. Audrey has taken an extended leave of absence from her job. Jack has wrapped up his painting business. We are going on a year long travel of the globe.

We give up possession of our house on November 19th. We have a few days of running around taking care of last minute details before we commence our trip. Our first flight from Vancouver to London is on November 23rd. We will purchase our next flight prior to/or in London (undecided still) We will spend one night in London and hopefully fly out the next day to Eastern Africa. Most likely it will be into Nairobi, Kenya. We will spend about a month in Kenya/Tanzania. We will then make our way down to South Africa. Other countries may be visited as well depending on time/money. We plan to do a few safaris as well as take in scenery and local culture.

The basic plan for the rest of the trip is:

After Tanzania and South Africa we will fly back to London and then into South East Asia

Thailand

Laos

Cambodia

Singapore

China

Tibet

Then onto Europe

Greece

Italy

Portugal

Spain

Ireland

Back to London and then home to Vancouver Island for a short 10 days. Oh hi mom, yes we are finally back from our year of traveling, but guess what? We are taking off again to Mexico for 3 months.
