kyle and i just finished about 6 days in paris. we didnt even end up
doing any day trips because the city is so big and beautiful. we loved
the parcs and the onion soup was great (even kyle liked it)! and of
course the eiffel tower...
last night we hoppped on a train south to bordeaux. we bumped into evan
and his friend susanna (from germany) on the street, returning from the
supermarket. today, my great friend from alma, baker, is meeting us
here. he is living in toulouse right now. today we will all probably go
do some wine tasting, since that is what the region is famous for.
bordeaux seemes like a young, college town. lots of art, musique, and
cultural events going on. and we finally found some sunshine! i dont
think the clouds ever clear in paris!!
tomorrow we are going to head back to toulouse with baker in time to celebrate kyles 23rd birthday on friday!!
