rolling through paris

after leaving interlaken, we crossed into france again and headed for a colmar, a small town along the wine road. it is a cool little german influenced city with a region of bavarian houses and german food. we found a great restaurant named schwendi and ate some roesti, which is a potatoe and bacon casserole with vegetables and meat mixed in. the best food we have had since mami camilla. we went to strasborg the next day which is a bigger version of colmar with a big city feel. we stopped back at schwendi for some more goodness before heading to paris. yesterday we saw the notre dame, crypts, saint chapelle ( beautiful church with 1113 bible scenes depicted in stained glass), the picasso mesuem, and orsay museum. we were dead tired after the long day and crashed early at our hostel.
