I made everyone in the back of the chicken bus laugh today. I was the only white guy on the way back from the beach. I was standing up and hanging on to the ceiling rail on the oldest school bus I have even seen. The last 4 seats were missing and about 15 of us were hanging on and bouncing up and down. I said, " No puedo balliar, por que soy Gringo -( I can not dance because I am a white man). pero ahora yo puedo - ( but now I can)  - and then I started to swivel my hips. Everyone who heard me laughed. We all looked like we were dancing.

There are still firecrackers going off -  Masses and parades with Mary statues.

 I just returned from the Giantonas competition on the steps of the Leon Cathedral. A dozen groups of Giantonas and Pepes competed. They are all kids and their sponsors. Lots of people again at the main square.
