The video here, and another one on on "The Oasis of Granada", show the big parade-10- foot woman and little man/ Gigantona and Enanos Cabezone. The woman giant  represents Spain and the Dwarf represents the indigenous. Spain is powerful, but the little "locals" have a big head and are smart. They only appear in Nicaraguan streets in November and December. There are always a few drummers playing for their dance.

I had a tomato juice-V8 with a lime, lots of smashed garlic clove, and poured in the cayenne hot sauce. What a great pick-me-up and sinus/asthma therapy. Nobody wanted to sit beside me on the bus. I had my own seat!
