Entry 11 of 36 | show all | print this entry

The "Oasis" Hostel is big. It's a great place to stay and is hidden behind an old door with a small sign. It is hard to imagine that there is a big hotel hidden in this part of town. This is the oldest colonial town here. It has interesting architecture and the typical Spanish look. It is run down and dirty , if you ask me. Maybe it takes a while. It's definitely 3rd world. We walked by a sports bar, had a beer, and watched part of the Steelers, New England Game - Not something I expected to see.

The video clip is  interesting: It was a small version of the celebrations they have here - Pepe and Giantonas.
