These pictures were taken from the 41st floor Sky Bridge of the Petronas Towers.  That's as high as visitors are allowed to go since after all it is a private office building and they don't want people like me walking all over it.  The pictures don't do these buildings justice and if you like architecture it's a well designed place that stands out.

In order to visit the Sky Bridge you have to watch a 7 minute propaganda film for Petronas Oil Company that extols the virtues of their business and why a skyscraper was needed.  Supposedly, it was built as a beacon of hope because Allah desired it to inspire young Malaysians that they too can be prosperous.  How an office building is supposed to do that, I don't know but it was repeated over and over during the tour.  Well, it did inspire me to make a stop in KL so you never know what effect it might have on the more impressionable.

The camera card I thought wasn't working is magically uploading pics to PCs again.  I don't know what happened to it or how everything is restored.  It stopped working during Ramadan in Malaysia and for all I know it could have been Allah's revenge on me for breaking his holy fast during daylight hours.  After all he is all knowing and he seems feared by all except me in a lot of the places I have visited.  Who knows.  I got somewhere more familiar like Australia and all my pics are miraculously back.   That's all that matters.
