Where I stayed
The next day we went to Kata Tjuta and did a walk called Valley of the Winds. It was a very long walk and it was a hot day so when we went back to the campsite we had a swim in the pool. You weren't allowed to hear the stories about Kata Tjuta because they are sacred to the Aboriginal people. It was a nice walk, but one point was extremely steep and rough, and it was hard going. We met some other people who were travelling round Australia too. They were afraid about going down the steep pathway!
I am going to tell you how Kata Tjuta was made
Despite the walk's length, and the heat of the day, the kids were stalwart and required minimal jelly bean inducements. As our travels progress they are getting tougher and tougher!
