Day 9, In the big, big World of Chocolate
How long do you think it took until they tried their candy bars? Within 24 hours they had their first taste, and they do taste very fresh, slightly different than what you buy in a store. Perhaps the wrapper gives them a little different taste.
We awoke early to try and get in a chocolate breakfast at the lodge and then start our tour of Chocolate World. Emma was so excited to go. We arrived again to masses amount of tourists all doing the same thing. I was actually so surprised that this was such a tourist attraction. We watched a fun 3D movie on the history of Hershey and then headed over to the chocolate experienced where we all got to make our very own Hershey bar from the inclusions all the way to the wrapper design. This was definitely a highlight of our trip for the kids, yet still educational since they were able to tour the hershey’s plant. Finally it was time to leave and head west, but Chris had one more stop in mind to finish our freedom Tour and U.S. History cycle, Gettysburgh, PA. Hershey's Chocolate World was agreed to be one of their favorite stops on this vacation. Who can blame them, they are kids right and this was a candy factory!
