Lucas and I got up nice and early on Saturday so that we could have breakfast together before he drove me to the airport. We loaded the station wagon up and drove to 'White Spot'. There, Lucas realized he didn't have his wallet and left me there while he drove back home (at least it was nice and close)to get it. I had some coffee while I waited for him to return.
I had this delicious cheese, egg, bacon, hashbrown thingie on a tomato flavoured wrap and a dessert cup of fresh fruit. Lucas had some greasy trucker's breakfast thingie with tons of bacon. LOL. Glad at least 'I' tried to set an example! ;)
We then went on a mission to find a London drugs that was open so that I could take some more ID pictures. The hiring director of the school had informed me the night before that I would need some 12 pictures in total for my Taiwanese IDs. We drove around for a bit and then decided to go to Richmond (where the airport is located) so that we could find something closer to there. We did find this one London Drugs that was open...but they printer was having issues. I was able to get two pictures done but not the wallet sheet I had been hoping for. The lady said that I should just try to find a place to take it to and have the people scan it and print out more photos. We were running out of time too...so I just didn't wanna bother and would deal with it in Taiwan (somehow).
Lucas drove me to the aiport and we said our goodbyes. I told him to wait for me...I would be in Vancouver in 2010 (that is when I plan moving there). I thanked him for all his hospitality and for allowing me to sleep on the 'memory erasing hover bed' (it was called that now because I could strangely not remember any of the dreams I had had while iN vancouver).
Checked in, paid some $140.00 for checking in an extra bag and then boarded my China Airlines flight.
