Got up early and met Lidia at my Pousada for breakfast at 7 am. The people there were nice and just let her come in and have breakfast with me for free. Normally they would charge some R$5,00...but I think the guy behind the counter is sweet on me...so he let her in without a second thought. We were at the school by 8 am and began getting some information together. We have to get a teacher's information package for the 5 teachers coming in from the U.S in February. We also have to get a parent information package ready...with the school contract, information on the program, etc. I will eventually be the one exclusively talking to parents about new enrollment and the one signing them up and answering their questions regarding the program. It's a lot of information I am gonna have to store...but I am writing everything down and plan on having many papers and posters on my wall to glance at to remind me. Anyway, we worked until 11:30 am and then headed off to a Churrascaria (all you can eat meat buffet place). You know me...true carnivore here. I had a great time. Then we headed off to São Pedro. Lidia was nice enough to drive me there to pick up my luggage and then bring everything back here to Macaé so that it will be ready to move in to my new place. I will take pictures once I am settled in and stuff, promise.
What a week huh? Wow...I can only wait and see what next week brings me.
