Up bright and early this morning for a trip along the Mission Trail - a number of Spanish built settlements around San Antonio. There are five in all - four still remain today as working Churches - the fifth is the site of the famous Battle of the Alamo - where we saw an Irish flag honouring the nine Irish men who died fighting alongside Davy Crockett etc. It was a fascinating trip - full of history.

During the afternoon - we took a boat ride through San Antonio, which is a really pretty city. We visited a Ripley's believe it or not exhibition and finished the day in a Mexican Market.
