One of Klemm's main reasons for wanting to go to Germany was to see where her family came from hundreds of years ago, so we went to Ittlingen, a very small town in the middle of nowhere. She very much enjoyed her time there, and I did not mind it, but the biggest joy I had was on the train on the way there. Before each stop, a recorded voice would announce the name of the stop and give a few instructions (e.g. 'prepare yr things' or whatever). There was a guy on one of the trains who knew every stop by heart and would say exactly what the recorded voice said at the same time in a whispering, sinister voice. Afterwards, he would inhale deeply, then exhale loudly with laughs coming out along with the exhale. No-body else paid him any mind, which makes me think that they were trying the grade school ignore-him-and-he'll-stop trick, or they know this guy well and his act is old.
