All Those Government Fat Cats

We stayed at a place called Hille's Hostel which was really great and pretty cheap. The owner was really laid back and there was even a piano for Klemm to play. But the resident feline was super, super-fat. It was so fat that it could not even jump onto a low table--it was trying to pull itself up once it had only gotten two paws on it, but it could not pull up its fat, fat body. Sadly, there was also a man in our dorm room who was wearing maybe 1 percent more clothing than the cat and was proportionately fatter, smellier, and louder. A glandular problem? Maybe. But put some clothes on!
Trier is a city with a lot of Roman ruins which were all pretty neat. There was also a Marathon going on at the same time. You can see, then, how two great civilisations clashed. We went to church in the Dom, which was pretty neat but I only understood "God lives in love and love lives in God." That´s not bad, though, given that German is the language at which i am the poorest (besides ones I´ve never attempted to learn). Along with the Roman things, we also went into the Spielzeugmuseum (toy museum), which was swell and worth the money. We also visited Karl Marx´s birthplace which had been turned into a very informative museum on him, his life, and communism but had very few things, just lots of information which was mainly a repeat of things I already knew about communism. An interesting thing is that the comment book was full of Chinese characters and a few postcards were in Chinese as well (the only souvenir I bought, actually). Turns out that some Chinese really do still believe in Communism.
